    PezCycling News &bull Jan 31, 2012

More... A day with Garmin-Barracuda followed by two days with the BMC team. Both teams have their ways of doing things, but both are professionals. The most notable thing I noticed was the how much more interest there was in the BMC team compared to last year. The difference a Tour win can make and signing two of the biggest names from the Classics. Im glad to say that the first day of the BMC teams two press days didnt kick off until the afternoon, which gave me time to post EuroTrash Thursday and write up the previous day's Garmin-Barracuda… Full Story »

  3. Toolbox: Turn Your Breathing Upside Down

    PezCycling News &bull Jan 31, 2012

More... Who the hell is this guy, Ian Jackson? That was the way one of my fellow competitors characterized his intimidation before the start of the first Big Island Ironman triathlon back in 1981. Jackson had announced his confidence of an overall win in the press, and given the infantile level of the sport back then, nearly everyone could be considered a threat. Because we were worlds apart, I was intrigued with his creative approach. By John Howard and Gina Poertner, CHES Like most of the competitors, I was submerged in the physical prowess of the sport while Jackson dealt… Full Story »

There is clearly a hustle and bustle feel to the area as riders get ready for the day. It's Stage 5, and this will be the deciding day of racing in this year's Tour Down Under with the race's first ever uphill finish on Old Willunga Hill. Words… Full Story »

But there are a number of guys who are keen to spoil the party, and they're… Full Story »
