  1. How do we get bikes taken seriously (by all advocates)?

    I expect resistance from drivers, the auto industry, the AAA, etc., but I don't want to expect it from advocates who are generally pro-livable streets. This is a serious problem for us. I don't know the answer to this question. We managed to get Google to take bikes seriously enough to integrate them into Google Maps, but far too many transportation advocates still, it seems to me, look at bikes as an afterthought, if at all.
